Butterfly wings and hurricanes...A fascinating story that brings a clear focus to the cascading impact of our "human" decisions on the lives of others as well as on our own lives. Great read!

Bios:

Thomas DiCarlo and Connie Atkinson co-wrote the mystical-thriller, The Brotherhood of Purity, in response to the events of 9-11. Tom witnessed the Twin Towers fall and narrowly escaped being in the North Tower at Windows on the World that morning by a twist of fate. It saved him and five members of his staff.

The trauma Tom experienced, however, was so great that his sister, Connie, convinced him to write a story about terrorism, and how the mystical sometimes intercedes in our lives at just the right times. Connie thought that, perhaps, writing about it would help heal her usually boisterous, joyful brother who had become withdrawn and sullen. Happily, was she right, and the siblings have completed the first volume in the series.

The Brotherhood of Purity is a contemporary literary novel based on the central and crucial issue of our time – the ongoing rise of terrorism and the struggle to find a road to lasting peace.  It is written in the tradition of history’s great authors, whose stories inspired us and changed our culture.
